  • Your desire for, and dependency on relationship is not immature or pathological; it is your greatest strength. Everything from science to the natural world remind us of the delicate and dependent dance between separateness and connectedness. The truth is, we need both in order to thrive.

Nothing has the power to rattle our sense of safety and security like fractured connection or broken trust. Whether you’re navigating these challenges with a partner, family member, child, or friend, know that change is possible. We will build upon your inherent strengths while we work to make sense of the events and patterns that have lead to disconnection and hardship.

You will gain tools you can use to break old patterns and restore connection, trust, and joy in your relationships ~ including the relationship you have with yourself. You will find yourself more connected to the needs and desires of your own heart, more confident and effective in your ability to express yourself, and more secure in your connection to those you care about most.

  • Whether you're just beginning to question your faith or are deep in the process of deconstruction, your reasons for doing so are valid and worthy of care. This journey can be both liberating and disorienting, and you don’t have to walk it alone.

Together, we’ll honor all parts of your story: the grief, the questions, and the moments of freedom. For many, high-control religious spaces were the source of community, belonging, and safety, making it deeply painful to untangle yourself from those systems. It can feel like being pulled between authenticity and acceptance, between fitting in and staying true to yourself.

My work centers on helping you make sense of your experiences, understand your responses, and reconnect with your strengths, values, and hopes for your one wild and precious life.

I specialize in working with individuals and parents who were raised in religious environments and are now navigating life and raising children without religion. Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or a new way forward, this space is for you.

  • For over thirteen years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting parents and families across a wide range of settings, including inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric programs, long-term residential treatment, intensive in-home family services, and crisis intervention. I spent five years at Children’s Hospital Colorado in the psychiatric emergency department, helping youth and their caregivers navigate acute mental health crises with care and clarity.

As a Gottman-certified Bringing Baby Home Educator, I offer parenting support that’s collaborative, research-based, and rooted in secure attachment. When parents feel supported, that care ripples outward, strengthening relationships, fostering resilience, and creating a more connected family life.

Whether you’re preparing for your first baby, navigating hard seasons like trauma, loss, big emotions, or untangling old scripts that keep you stuck in cycles of shame, doubt, and fear, our work will be a place where you can explore what truly matters and imagine something new. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, make sense of what’s hard, and create practical, relationship-focused tools to help your family feel safe, understood, and deeply connected—while writing a new story for the generations to come.

Because even in the sleepless nights and messy moments, there’s so much joy, love, and possibility waiting to be found.

  • Trauma can touch every part of your life, shaping how you see yourself, how you relate to others, and how safe or connected you feel in the world. Sometimes the source is clear. Other times, it’s rooted in long periods of instability, unmet emotional needs, or feeling unseen, unwanted, or misunderstood by a caregiver or community.

Trauma often leaves behind messages that are simply not true ~ distortions about your worth, your belonging, or your capacity for connection. Together, we’ll begin the work of uncovering and gently challenging those messages. We’ll lean into practices that support safety, self-compassion, and healing relationships ~ starting with the one you have with yourself.

As an EMDR-trained therapist, I offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach that helps your brain reprocess distressing or traumatic experiences and move toward integration and relief. Healing doesn’t mean erasing what’s happened, it means reclaiming your story, reconnecting with your sense of self, and building relationships that are safe, attuned, joyful, and whole.

  • Part of what can be so difficult about living with depression or anxiety is the feeling of loneliness and isolation it so often brings. You know what it feels like to be trying your best only to repeatedly feel overwhelmed and "stuck".

Understanding the connection between your mind, body and relationships holds important keys that can be used to unlock deeper meaning and context to your story. I support clients by helping them gain a better understanding of how their experiences, thought processes, and relationships with themselves and others impact feelings like depression and anxiety.

We will work together to create space for curiosity and compassion, build strategies to better understand the unspoken language shared by your heart, mind and body, and practice healthier behaviors as ways to manage and improve these challenging states.

    Relief is possible.
